An Electronic Engineering major with a minor in English, Randy Roberts has written poems for fifty years. His interest in poetry has been re-kindled since a heart attack and retirement. He was editor and publisher of a high tech magazine for four years then took it to the internet. poetrandy has read his poetry in Rancho Mirage, Tehachapi, Bakersfield, CA and on a Royal Caribbean Mexico cruise. His poetry has been featured on a number of Websites. More of his poems are available on several Internet sites. Randy's poetry is now being published in the Bear Valley Springs, California "Cub." He is now reading his poetry in Southern California, entering poetry contests, and preparing his first chapbook.

Well, it certainly is a discouraging situation. But I don't know where I would immigrate to that would not be even worse, if that can be imagined. Mars, perhaps, but it's too dry "up there." I think we need to do what we can, when we can, to get people to "wake up and smell the roses." They keep shooting at the wrong target, mainly at their own feet.
Thanks Randy. I don't look for controversies but I feel obligated to state what I believe. The future of the world is at stake and I fear most people are lost in a maze of self pity and greed.
